What?      Clothes, skis, boots, poles, hats, gloves, downhill, cross-country, jackets, car-chains...

How?        Bring your gear on the day, we will sell it for you, adding 20% commission for the school, or donate your gear and the school gets all the proceeds.

Why?        This is a major fundraising event for Mt Beauty Primary School, run by Parents Club volunteers.

HALF MARATHON, 10 AND 3KM FOOT RACES Saturday, May 24th 2008 10 am .

It's over 28 years since a group of crazy locals kicked off the original Mount Beauty Marathon. It has now become an institution. Locals from the Albury-Wodonga and Shepparton areas look forward to their annual visit to the valley, as do locals and a number of keen athletes from Melbourne and Adelaide.

Kangaroo Hoppet Inc. and the MOUNT BEAUTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE invite you to join us for one of Australia's most scenic runs. This event caters for families and serious runners alike. There are refreshments provided at the finish line, and heaps of spot prizes to be given away along with placegetters medallions at the presentations.

Hello everyone
and welcome to this update for the broader stakeholder group regarding

developments on the Bogong High Plains Road pavement works.

Sealing work started on the road on Monday, 25 February. In order to keep all interested parties up to date, Alpine Shire Council has organised a public information session (details below) and developed a webpage for the project. See the link below.
